TLC Full Day Kindergarten

TLC has an excellent full-day Kindergarten program with a great reputation.  Our licensed teachers provide a learning environment that is fun and challenging.  A small class size enables us to differentiate instruction to meet the varied needs of our students as they prepare for first grade.  Our classroom is registered with the Department of Education and our curriculum is aligned with Pennridge School District and PA State standards for Early Learning.   We use the Everyday Math program and the Collaborative Classroom literacy curriculum.  The structure of our full-day program allows for a more relaxed, less hurried school day with more varied experiences.  We have weekly “specials” which include Lil’ Sports, music class, chapel, and computer lab.  The children also have time in their day for playtime with peers in learning centers and outside!

8:40 – 9:00 Morning Meeting

9 – 9:20 Snack & Bathroom

9:20 – 10:45 Lit Centers/Intro Fundations as a whole group and then break off into Small Groups

10:45 – 11 Social Emotional Learning

11 – 12 Special & Gross Motor

12 – 12:40 Lunch

12:40 – 12:50 Bathroom

12:50 – 1 Quiet Time/Activities

1 – 1:40 Everyday Math & Calendar

1:40 – 2:15 Centers/Bathroom

2:15 – 3:00 Science/SS

3:00 – 3:30 Pack-up, snack, bathroom

3:30 – 4 Centers

4 – 4:45 Outside
